The two connected buildings at 24-28 North High were built in 1960. The “connecter”section between the buildings is called a “hyphen.” Since 1960, a number of businesses have occupied these two buildings. A florist was one such business. From this vantage point, many a passerby has strolled the sidewalk in front of these buildings and much has evolved on this section of North High street.

Today

Of all the businesses that have set-up shop in these two buildings, perhaps none of them have been focused on the business of fun, imagination and uniqueness quite like its current occupants – Dublin Toy Emporium and Extravagifts. The owner of Dublin Toy Emporium is a former educator who made it her mission mission is to provide high quality, mind-expanding, safe, and fun toys for all ages.
