Dublin House of Beauty
Then
This property was built by Hiram Hays around 1871. While exact details are hard to find, it is said that Mr. Hays ran a tavern in the front portion of the building and the back was where he lived with his wife, who ran a dressmaking business out of their home. After the Hays’ moved, school teacher Ethel Davis and her daughter, Mildred Gordon lived here for many years.
Today
Today, the House of Beauty carries on Mrs. Hays' goal of helping to make people look their very best. The luxury hair and nail boutique prides itself in always being first with the latest color trends and cutting techniques as well as manicures and pedicures that are performed by the best in the business. Every day, the House of Beauty team strives to provide their clients with bold yet timeless looks that help give confidence a boost.
