With the holiday season upon us, we know there will be an influx of visitors in our beautiful Historic District. The City of Dublin would like you to remind your employees and customers about the three-hour parking limit in designated spaces in the district. The reason there is enforcement in the Darby, Franklin and Town Center lots and along the street is to encourage turnover, which opens parking for customers, patrons and visitors to the shops, restaurants and businesses in Historic Dublin.

Historic District business employees should not be parking in the restricted spots if they will be exceeding the 3-hour limit. The City has secured spots in the Indian Run Lot and the Dublin Community Church lot, located at 81 W Bridge Street, for longer-term parking that you and your employees may use. Please note that our Code Enforcement team will be working to ensure the time limits are being observed so that visitors and customers will have the best parking options.

The City looks forward to a discussion with you early next year about the future of employee parking in the Historic District in light of the new parking garage opening in late spring.

We are sending this message to businesses within Historic Dublin, contractors working in the area and our partnership groups with a stake in the District.

Thank you for your help in communicating about these efforts. We appreciate your time and partnership. Have a very happy holiday season!
